Odin went on to win breed, and then group (we were also the only hounds). In the final ring, for Best In Show, there were three dogs. Odin was one of them. Odin won Reserve in Show!
There is definitely a lot more to learn, and a lot more practice to be had. For sure we know we need to work with holding the leash, and not being so sloppy. Work on gaiting, and finding that perfect pace to show off those muscles. Learn to relax when showing and not be so tense. And most importantly....we need to work daily with the dogs! This is super hard to do when Kassie works and lives three hours away.
GML Ride the Lightning wins Reserve in Specialty Show at the Central Montana Rabbit Breeders show in Great Falls, Montana.  GML/Valadez's Lucifer wins Reserve In Show at the Western Montana Rabbit and Cavy Fancier's Show in Missoula, Montana! Along with a ribbon and gold embossed certificate in a no border frame, we also received a hand sketched framed Mini Lop done by local artist, club member and friend Karla Hetzler.   A big congrats goes out to Abby Prichard with Bunnicula's Bambi on their Reserve in Show win at Three Corners Rabbit Club May 10, 2014 in Russell, Kansas. Winning Best of Breed in both Show A and B and Reserve in Show under judge Justine Erikson in Show A!
Bunnicula's Bambi was bred by my daughter, Kassie Weikal of Bunnicula Rabbitry.  I would have to admit I was super surprised at this show! What a fantastic show! GML Astryd takes a 2nd Reserve in Show win, followed by a Reserve in Show on the next table. But, not to be topped by my daughter Keliesa's Best in Show win with her Polish Buck! Two great home bred animals with some fantastic wins! A Great Day at the show for us!  Beyond Belief! Young GML/Valadez's Lucinda, under 5 months of age wins Reserve In Show at the Flathead Rabbit Breeders Show in Kalispell Montana under judge Lawrence Weeks!  I didnt get the time to get a picture at the show with the judge, but regardless here he is with all his wins! Smokey's Vortex wins a Reserve in Show at the Flathead Rabbit Breeders show this month in Kalispell, Montana!  |
